StoredTech Announces Unlimited Data Vaulting; Sets Local Market Precedent

StoredTech Announces Unlimited Data Vaulting; Sets Local Market Precedent

Stored Technology Solutions, Inc. disrupts market standard by becoming area’s first provider to offer business customers unlimited data storage plans; and for less than $100

GLENS FALLS, NY (PRWEB) February 26, 2014Stored Technology Solutions Inc. (StoredTech), the area’s leading provider of IT managed services, announced today that they have launched Unlimited Data Backup Plans for business customers. In a bold move that disrupts the market standard of charging per Gigabyte of data, the company is now offering unlimited safe and secure cloud backup to businesses for only $99 per server per month or $49 per workstation per month.

The company says that their departure from the standard per Gigabyte pricing model is [in-part] in response to an unsettling trend that’s emerged whereby price-conscience businesses will often put some of their data at risk by being selective about which business data they backup – this all in an attempt to save some cost. This leaves them less than 100% protected from data loss scenarios that could put their entire business in jeopardy.

“Businesses will often let this standard pricing model of per Gig affect what they choose to backup,” says StoredTech President and CEO, Mark Shaw. “This is particularly true with the SMB market where businesses need to be more frugal. We want our customers to be able to backup all of their data in order to provide their businesses with true disaster recovery and peace-of-mind.”

At a time when more than half of SMBs surveyed admit to not performing daily backups, Shaw says that we need to change the mindset. “The reality is that data and data backup are critical in today’s business environment. Businesses of every size need to start thinking of data protection more like homeowners insurance, you may hate paying the monthly bill, but if your home were to suffer a fire, you’d be thankful that the insurance is there to help you. Backup is the most important, efficient and cost effective way to protect yourself from a data loss that could put your entire business in jeopardy – it’s not just for the ‘big companies’ to worry about anymore.”

StoredTech’s aggressive new unlimited pricing is not just for their future customers, the company has rolled its existing customers on to the new plans as well, saving some hundreds of dollars per month.

SheetLabels.com has been a StoredTech customer since 2008. As an international provider of blank and custom printed labels, SheetLabels.com relies heavily on ecommerce and requires strong backend management and redundancies to keep their operations running smoothly. “Our data is extremely important to us and I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night if it were not 100% protected,” said Adam Gray, president of SheetLabels.com. “We were shocked and delighted when StoredTech contacted us recently to let us know about their new unlimited data backup plans. The unlimited vaulting will save us approximately $400-$600 a month from our previous plan, for a total annual reduction of somewhere around 75%!”

This announcement comes after an impressive year of perpetual growth for the company who nearly doubled its staff since early 2013 and expanded its geographic reach and service offerings by opening offices in Malone, Saratoga Springs, Plattsburg and New Jersey -all while further enhancing its portfolio through strategic acquisitions.
